- Being a kid in the 80's was the shit! For me, the highlight of the 80's was within the cartoons and the anime that I grew up watching. They have a tremendous affect on me that still exist. I have become obsessed with The Transformers and been a die-hard fan since that time. I also like the G.I. Joe, Macross, and Mospeada. So yeah, I guess I would fall under the "Geeks" and "Nerds" category. I don't think I can ever out grow loving The Transformers. What can I say, i'm a kid at heart!

My name is Ryver and I love my work and the things I enjoying doing in life. Like many many Cambodians, my family migrated from Cambodia during the Pol Pot revoluton. We reached the U.S. in St. Paul, Minnesota back in 1982.
Why the California Highway Patrol. Well, it traced back to the 80's when a T.V. show called "CHiPs." That's right, I was a little boy back then and I was stoked by the show! I remember as a kid saying to myself "I want to be like them when I grow up and put away the bad guys." A typical kid of course. I find my line of work to be rewarding as I get the opportunity to keep our highway systems safe and secure. What better way to work where everyday is a different day.
Aside from that, i'm just the average Joe. A walking soul with a keen sense of humor. A simple guy with simple needs. Down to earth, easy going, laid back and people friendly. And I like and enjoy the same things that many people like and enjoy. And there are many things that many people do not like what I like and enjoy as well. Whatever the case maybe, lets get one thing straight, we are two different people. I got to say, life is good and i'm lovin it!

Welcome to Khmercity.net. I read your profile...very interesting hobbies and life choices. You know, I also grew up in the 80s, and my hobbies, e.g. watching CHiPs and the Transformers, weren't too dissimilar from yours.
