hi bong!

1. go to bestbuy and get 'TrendMicro AntiVirus with Internet Protection' for Home Users. if u have two or three computers...it's more economical and common sense to buy 3-PC license instead of individual licenses. The software should protect against viruses, spyware, etc...it should protect your computer, emailing, and surfing the Internet.
2.Ensure that you log on as Admin when installing the software...follow instructions via prompts; restart your computer by clicking Start and Restart if software asks.
3. then open TrendMicro;
4. click 'Update Now'...to update your antivirus definitions as Admin;
5. Log on to computer as using Standard User account;
6. next do a 'Complete Scan' of your computer! (you don't have to log on as Admin or be connected to the Internet to perform 'Complete Scan' of your computer...in fact, it's the prefer way!...so unplug Internet cable from your computer);
7. The 'Complete Scan' should provide report/status/summary...just read and follow the instructions on screen to remove or quarantine viruses and bad files!
8. Turn off your computer via clicking Start and then Shutdown or Power Off;
9. Plug back Internet cable to your computer so you can get on Internet;
10. Then log off and log on as Standard User to check your email and surf the Internet.

11. Repeat following steps every week to update your AntiVirus definitions and do Complete Scan of your computer:
11A. Log on as Admin on your computer.
11B. Repeat steps # 3 thru # 10...

Note: You should ONLY use Admin account to fix or update your computer. Sorry if my instructions make u feel like 7 yrs old kid...lolz.

Also...you don't need to buy 'Webroot Spy Sweeper with Antivirus'!
