Here's an interesting article that may affect da whole world. I'm not so political by choice but I can be if I can get away from da partying....lolz. i hope we don't go into another war before the next US President come into office.

Iran ready to strike at Israel’s nuclear heart

Iran has moved ballistic missiles into launch positions, with Israel’s Dimona nuclear plant among the possible targets, defence sources said last week.
The movement of Shahab-3B missiles, which have an estimated range of more than 1,250 miles, followed a large-scale exercise earlier this month in which the Israeli air force flew en masse over the Mediterranean in an apparent rehearsal for a threatened attack on Iran’s nuclear installations. Israel believes Iran’s nuclear programme is aimed at acquiring nuclear weapons.
The sources said Iran was preparing to retaliate for any onslaught by firing missiles at Dimona, where Israel’s own nuclear weapons are believed to be made.
Major-General Mohammad Jafari, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, told a Tehran daily: “This country [Israel] is completely within the range of the Islamic Republic’s missiles. Our missile power and capability are such that the Zionist regime – despite all its abilities – cannot confront it.”

An editorial in a government newspaper, Jomhouri Eslami, said: “Our response will hit right at their temple.”
The sabre-rattling coincided with a visit to Israel yesterday by the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Michael Mullen, for talks with his Israeli opposite number, Lieutenant-General Gabi Ashkenazi. This intensified speculation that Israel was seeking US approval for a possible attack on Iran.
“Although the visit had been planned well in advance, we got the feeling he was coming to make sure we’ll obey the strict timetable agreed with the US,” said an Israeli defence source. He refused to elaborate.
President George Bush has approved the linking of Israel to a US infrared satellite detection system that could spot Shahab missile launches within seconds.
This should enable the Israeli air force to destroy such missiles in the booster stage. The system will also give the Israelis about 15 minutes to seek shelter before any warhead hits.

I agree with your last statement.
I think it would be a grave mistake for the US to encourage Israel to strike. If Tel Aviv goes to war, I don't think how the US can stand by without getting involved. We cannot afford to fight two wars at the same time, especially on two fronts, side by side. It would just be widening the hinding ground for the extremists. Recently, the US has increased its appropriation for the funding of special ops. to undermine/destabilize the current government of Iran.

First thing first, we should be focusing on one war not two. If we were to deal with Iran, nothing more than dealing diplomatically, we cannot afford another war especially seeing our people are suffering due to our economic downfall one example is the higher price of oil.

Isreal is believed to have about 250 nuclear warheads, enough to incinerate the entire Arab world. With the support of the U.S., it is trying to prevent any Arab country from acquiring nuclear capability. Only the U.S. and Russia have more nuclear weapons than Isreal.
Russia, which still has about 16,000 nuclear warheads, has recently thrown its support behind Iran. Needless to say, any showdown between Isreal and Iran would be very, very dangerous.

If they start shooting at one another as if nuclear weapons is another conventioanl weapon, then our chance of survival is very slim, especially considering that the extremists kill people at random.
I don;t much about nuclear weapons, but I believe it is much more powerful than the atomic bombs that were dropped on Japan in 1945. Look what happened to the two islands that the bombs were dropped on.

Hi every body hay is good new why ? most of those people like to die because they can't talk yes I do like to see it befor I die if they can't stop it why not just do it i though North korea is do the right way but when Iran want to start the war ? why not let die we will die any way

Hi Everyone:
I know that some people (including Americans and outsiders) do not think highly of Bush Administration. I'm not a Bush supporter or Democrat supporter...I'm just saying...and I'm a Free Thinker, an Independent. We have terrorists/extremists inside and outside of US! I know that war makes money...and of course, oil! I hope that US government don't just look for any reason or just an excuse to go into another war!
guys don't hate me...but we (US) should fine all means to have diplomatic ways to resolve disputes by all nations...lastly, if we have exhausted all peaceful attempts and if US must go to war...then we should go all force...fight to win! everyone around the world knows that we have the greatest nuclear/weapon capacity to end any war quickly (if we wanted to); dragging wars are costly in lives, money, suffering, pollution, etc.
oohh...btw...the dinosaurs were eradicated by natural forces beyond their control...if we humans are not careful..we will eradicate ourselves with our stupidity. if rain drops of nuclear weapons fall down from the sky...we might as well kiss our asses goodbye and dig our own hole...lolz.
Also, there is this one TV series on The History Channel talking about 'Life After People'--yes, it's correct, life was here before humans and life will continue after all humans are gone!

This is a topic that I best refrain from saying too much about. Here in America we cherish the freedoms of speech, religion, expression, assembly and so on and so forth. However, there are certain groups of people and certain subject matters that you can say only what you're supposed to say about them. This is not an anonymous forum where anyone can come in and say whatever they want without fear of consequences. One day you may think you're just exercising your First Amendment rights; the next day you could find yourself in deep shit for speaking what you feel to be the truth.
Suffice it to say that I am against injustice of any kind. The taking of innocent lives is a fundamentally evil act for any reason, be it for oil, democracy, or good old-fashioned territorial pissing.
Don't get me wrong. America is a beautiful country. It has beautiful people who are generally kind, generous, and fair-minded, but perhaps a bit unaware that their excesses may be contributing to plights of countless millions of others around the world. America has grown into perhaps the most powerful empire that history has ever witnessed-- so powerful that it must be very careful not to crumble under the weight of his own excesses and complacency.

Right on! US is still an infant...it's like 130 plus yrs old verus 800 yrs plus for srok khmer? Great empires does not last forever....just look at the great Roman Empire, the British Empire, etc...
